The Cool Haul is engineered with premium, high-performance totes designed to retain cold temperatures even during off-cycles. Paired with a rugged, rotary compressor, this unit delivers relentless cooling power and can withstand the knocks and vibrations of life on the water or in transit.
Whether dockside or out at sea, the Cool Haul delivers. Chill or transport over 500-1,000 lbs of seafood off-grid with ease. Empty, it can drop from +25°C to -10°C in under an hour. When it’s time to unload, simply swap from your portable generator to a standard wall outlet using our flexible 120V power input—built for convenience at sea or on shore.
BUILT FOR CONVENIENCE
Every Cool Haul tote features a split hinged lid, allowing easy access from either end—no more struggling with heavy, one-piece covers every time you need inside.
For operations that require frequent loading and off-loading, an optional 20-inch hatch door can be installed at the base of the tote, making it easy to drain, sort, or access product without removing the lid.
To meet the needs of various catch sizes and workflows, all totes are available in three heights—47" (high), 37" (medium), and 28" (low)—while maintaining a standard footprint of 48" x 43". Adjustable interior shelving can also be added to accommodate specific handling preferences.
MOBILE POWER SUPPLY
The Cool Haul system is designed for off-grid reliability, operating on any 115V/15A circuit that can provide a minimum 25A startup current.
For plug-and-play performance, we recommend a Honda 2200W generator. While other 2200W models may appear similar, we cannot guarantee consistent startup capacity or reliability outside of the tested Honda unit.
For marine operations, the Cool Haul can also run off your boat’s inverter system, but it requires:
A high-quality 4000W inverter
An adequate battery bank
An alternator capable of sustaining 100–120A continuous output
(Note: Most 100A alternators reach peak output at 3600 RPM)

DIGITAL THERMOSTAT
The Cool Haul features a state-of-the-art digital thermostat, allowing you to precisely control your target temperature with the push of a button. Designed for harsh and mobile environments, this advanced system ensures consistent cooling performance—even through fluctuating ambient conditions or power cycles.
To complement the digital control, each unit includes a secondary mechanical thermometer, giving you at-a-glance temperature monitoring even when the unit is powered off or disconnected—ideal for maintaining awareness during transit or offloading.
ADVANCED AIR FLOW TECHNOLOGY
The Cool Haul features a custom-engineered stainless steel fan cube, designed to deliver powerful and even airflow across your entire load. Built with flexibility in mind, this adjustable fan system allows you to reposition the airflow direction based on the specific demands of your catch—whether you're transporting tuna, halibut, or shellfish.
By eliminating hot spots and promoting consistent temperature distribution, the fan cube ensures rapid chilling and uniform product preservation. Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, it’s built to withstand the harsh marine environment and perform reliably trip after trip.

The answer is yes, you can! With our digital thermostat adjusting your set temperature is simple, hold the set point button until the set temperature flashes, adjust up or down with the arrow buttons and click the set point button to your desired temperature!
The Cool Haul requires 120V power source, making it versatile and easy to get power wherever you are. The Cool Haul can be run off a generator and then easily switched over to your home power source when you are not on the move.
Yes you can! The Cool Haul totes are built with extreme strength and durability allowing you to effortlessly pick them up under full load with a hoist, forklift, pallet jack or any other safe means of lifting that you have at your disposal.
